“Last year’s show was well received in the community and exceeded our expectations,” said Ron Provus, Rotarian and planning committee member. “In fact, several people commented to me that it was of New York City quality and that they would have paid significantly more to attend such a high level performance. Excitement is in the air for the third annual show and we expect an even larger audience this year!”

Presented by the community for the community, the evening’s line-up has something to please every age group. This year, LAFF will feature Running to Places youth theatre, Mostly Motown, the Armstrong School of Dance, and Hilby, the skinny German Juggle Boy. Also featured are local performers and musicians, including the incomparable Ed Clute on piano. Many of the artists are members of the Rotary and/or Savage Clubs.

Emcees for the show are Brett Bossard, executive director of the Community Arts Partnership, and Joey Steinhagen, co-artistic director of Running to Places Theatre Company.

LAFF lead sponsors to date are Cornell Fingerlakes Credit Union and Tompkins Trust Company. Supporting sponsors are 15 Steps, Cayuga Medical Center Foundation, Comfort Keepers, Concept Systems, Dolce Delight/Italian Carry Out, Haranin State Farm Insurance, Ithaca Pack ‘n Ship, KMT Books, Mansour Jewelers, Travis Hyde Properties, and United Country Real Estate.

In-kind donors are Cinemapolis, Eagle Envelope, and Wegmans. Media sponsor is Cayuga Radio Group.
