ROTARY CLUB OF ITHACA SEEKS AWARD NOMINATIONS
Nominations are now being accepted for Ithaca Rotary’s 15th annual Pride of Workmanship Award. The Rotary Club of Ithaca invites Ithaca community members to recognize employees whose outstanding work performance in their organization is “above and beyond the call of duty” and is instrumental in the achievement of the organization’s performance goals.
A panel of Ithaca Rotarians will select the award winners based on the information provided and the employee’s longevity and how he/she embodies the spirit of the business/organization. Preference may be given to those who have not been recognized for their workmanship in the past.
The following information should be submitted by September 14:
1. Full name of nominated employee
2. Employee’s job title or position
3. Employer
4. Address
5. Phone
6. Email address
7. Name of nominator
8. Nominator’s job title or position
9. Brief description of how this person contributes to the needs of the organization and exemplifies “Pride of Workmanship”
Completed forms should be emailed to grace.dalton@fnfg.com or mailed to Grace Dalton at First Niagara Bank, 2315 N. Triphammer Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850 to be received no later than September 14, 2012.
The 2012 winners will receive a plaque commemorating their award and, along with their nominators, will be hosted at a special Rotary luncheon award ceremony to be held at the Ithaca Holiday Inn on Wednesday, October 24.
The Rotary Club of Ithaca gathers every Wednesday for luncheon meetings held at the downtown Holiday Inn at noon. The public is welcome to attend to learn more about Rotary; cost is $12. Ithaca Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self.” Membership is open to all community members who share in this belief; new members are accepted year-round.
