Pride of Workmanship Awards Given
The award winners were:
Pauline Cameron,
nominated by Ann Tonzi and Mikki Megivern is a Certified Hospice and
Palliative Care Nurse for Hospicare and Palliative Care Services of
Tompkins County. Pauline has been a full-time nurse for 10 years and
remains on the staff as a compassionate and committed advocate for
those living with serious illness.
Pam Stonebraker, nominated by Abigail Smith, is the Director of Humane Education for the SPCA of Tompkins County. Pam is celebrating her 20th year as an employee for the SPCA of Tompkins County and has dedicated her entire career to helping animals.
Scott Reynolds, nominated by Kathy Schlather, is the Engineering Director for Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services. Scott has worked for INHS for many years and is instrumental in making sure that projects get completed properly and within budget.
Sharron Williams, nominated by Jim Johnston, is the main Receptionist in Family & Children's Service of Ithaca's mental health clinic. Sharron has worked here for 17 plus years. Despite having to manage hundreds of phone calls and conveying messages to the staff throughout the organization, there is always a warm welcome in her voice or a smile for those coming through the doors.
Rick Sumner, nominated by Scott Wiggins, is the Director of Maintenance for La Tourelle Resort and August Moon Spa and has worked there for over 10 years. Rick has kept La Tourelle Resort painted and polished, green and groomed, safe and secure and works tirelessly to make sure that everything works so that everyone else can do their job.
