Books for the World Project Update

Ithaca Rotary Club members, along with Cornell and IHS students packed 38 cartons of surplus textbooks today, as part of the Books for the World project. 4 Seasons Landscaping and owner Brian Sgrecci are transporting the books to a local loading dock for eventual truck delivery to a Rotary warehouse in Houston and then shipped via container ships to South Africa. The club has collected over 18,000 books in the past eighteen months when the project started.
