ANNOUNCEMENTS

Weekly meeting cancelled:  At 8:54 AM, Wednesday, January 25th, President Mary Kane sent out an email message on ClubRunner to let us know that St. Catherine’s community center was closed due to expected weather.  Furthermore, we would not be taking the Zoom option because the meeting program, “Business of the Club,” was to have been a discussion.

Music for Ukraine Concert, Sunday, February 19, 4 PM, at the First Unitarian Society of Ithaca, 306 N. Aurora St.  Volunteers are needed for setting up and cleaning up, running the art auction, and baking and buying desserts and drinks for the reception after the concert.  Various shifts are available beginning at 3 PM and ending at 6 PM.  This is an important local program being held to fund our project to improve a school bomb shelter in Lviv, Ukraine.  If you’re available, please contact Sherrie Negrea <sherrie@versatilewriting.com>.

LAST WEEK’S PRESENTATION

We had a Snow Day!  Due to weather conditions, our first “Business of the Club” program for the 2022–23 Rotary year was cancelled.

On Wednesday morning, President Mary sent to all members, via ClubRunner, two sheets with questions for each of us to consider.  For those of us with time, interest, and something to say, she asked that we put down our thoughts on one or both of the sheets and send them to her at mkane@conceptsystems.com.  Copies of the sheets are included at the end of this newsletter.

THANK YOU ROTARIANS
