LAST WEEK’S PROGRAM

George Ferrari introduced speaker Jordan Clemons of the Unbroken Promise Initiative (UPI). The mission of UPI is to foster growth and development of Ithaca’s underserved community members, particularly in the West Hill, which houses the city’s highest concentration of families living below the poverty threshold. The goal of UPI is to build a healthy, sustainable future for families in that neighborhood. UPI is working to break cycles of poverty, and uplift black and brown and other underprivileged populations. www.unbroken.us.
