Our 2021 Ithaca Rotary club military veterans: Roger Segelken, Jim Johnson, Mel Richards, Bob Sprole, Brad Carruth, Don Hinman, Larry Thayer, Bob Langhans, Jessica Verfuss, Jim Showacre, John Vineyard, Walt Cottrell. Guests and Visiting Rotarians — No guests or visiting Rotarians were introduced.
- Geoff Dunn introduced Jessica Verfuss, Deputy Director of the Emergency Response Center of Tompkins County.
- Heidi Goldstein thanked club members for their generous support of the Rotary Harvest/ Thanksgiving Addition.
- Dale Flinn is once again sponsoring a Rotary Hockey Team that plays at Cass Park. A Rotary jersey (#1 VanAtta) was given to Pres. Catrina.
- November is Foundation month and Foundation Chair Dale Flinn spoke about the different funds that comprise the Rotary Foundation. Our club’s fundraising goals are $13,000 for the annual fund, and $2,000 for Polio Plus.
- Richard Kops, stylishly wearing his trademark scarf, asked for more volunteers to fill sorting & distribution slots. He emphasized the benefits of taking part in this annual project: it “warms your heart to distribute clothing.”
- No happy dollars were collected.
