WELCOME & TRADITIONS

Four-Way Test —
Thanks to President Catrina for leading everyone in reciting the Four-Way Test.

The Thought for the Day —
GEOFF DUNN gave these quotes in honor of Veterans Day (November 11):

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” J F Kennedy

“We remember those who were called upon to give all a person can give, and we remember those who were prepared to make that sacrifice if it were demanded of them in the line of duty, though it never was. Most of all, we remember the devotion and gallantry with which all of them ennobled their nation as they became champions of a noble cause.” Ronald Reagan

“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.” Joseph Campbell

Our 2021 Ithaca Rotary club military veterans:
Roger Segelken, Jim Johnson, Mel Richards, Bob Sprole, Brad Carruth, Don Hinman, Larry Thayer, Bob Langhans, Jessica Verfuss, Jim Showacre, John Vineyard, Walt Cottrell.
